Regional Youth Forum

In 2022, Speak, with the support from community groups and organisations, hosted a Regional Youth Forum for LGBTIQA+ young people aged 11 - 22 living in western regional and rural Victoria capturing, for the first time, the experiences and ideas of diverse LGBTIQA+ youth in western regional and rural Victoria.

A report has been developed to summarises key findings from this event.

Speak’s Regional Youth Forum was supported by community groups across western regional and rural Victoria who are working together to fill a critical gap in LGBTIQA+ youth support.
